The order of the stories for this collection was selected by playing poker cards. I used the clovers and diamonds, and a joker. I assigned each story randomly to a card, and then I shuffled the cards, and chose them. The only ones that were not selected by the cards were the first story and last story slots which I selected “Inspiration Hits You At The Strangest Times”, and “Dream Job” for those two slots based on me instincts. I know this is an idea from Stephen King, but he can’t sue me for this. I think it’s a nice order, and I plan to use the same technique in organizing stories for each one of me collections that I release.
